Did you know when you visit a national park or a biological reserve you are in a wilderness protected area?

These protected areas are one of the most visited places world wide also they each have a classification based on the way the areas are managed their purpose and the environmental and  biological features these places have to offer.
With this in mind the government can provide regulations for adequate protection, management, conservation and exploitation of natural resources.

These are the current classification of category management given by IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature):

-Scientific Reserve / Strict Nature Reserve.
- National Park.
- Natural Monument / Natural Element Featured.
-Conservation Nature Reserve / Managed Nature Reserve / Wildlife Sanctuary.
-Terrestrial and Marine Protected Landscape
-Natural Resource Book.
-Bioethics Natural Area / Anthropological Reserve.
-Area of Multiple Use Management / Area Management of Natural Resources.
-Biosphere Reserve.
-Site (Natural) World Heritage.

These last two categories are not autonomous but internationally designated.
